This area of Spain offers amazing landscape with both mountains and the Sea. You’ll find gorgeous beaches with rich vegetation. If you were looking for your next dream vacation, you just found it: Valencia is waiting for you. The Valencian Coast is one of the most attractive of the Peninsula. Come on! Let’s have some fun!
Even just Valencia is worth checking out: the city mixes modernity and a wonderful historical heritage. It’s the city of Arts and Sciences and everyday thousands of tourists try to steal its secrets. When you think of the word “beach”, you imagine sand, sun and some far away paradise where to spend a vacation… hey – don’t dream anymore, those Valencia beaches are closer than you think.

The northern part of the coast is called Costa del Azahar and it goes from the Capital to the delta of the river Ebro. Coming down from Catalonia, the first beach you’ll come across is the Platja de Corinto, near Sagunto. But it is only one of the many amazing beaches that run alongside the road to Valencia! Among the most famous ones, you’ll see: Puçol, la Platja de la Pobla de Fernais, Platja de Arboreia and the well-known Playa de Malva-Rosa. Southern from Valencia, you’ll find other interesting beaches ; firstly, the Platja de Pinedo, joins a long piece of land at the mouth of the Turia river, and if you go a little further, you’ll see the Platja del Saler in Cullera. For those of you who loathe crowded beaches, go to la Devesa, that beach is an oasis of nature and calm. It is in the middle of the Albufera park, a humid area that has become one of the Natural Parks of Spain.
Going even more south, mountains get closer to the sea, and between Denia and Benidorm, the landscape becomes drier and the beautiful sandy bays are surrounded by majestic rocks. From Denia, you can easily go to Ibiza or Formentera (about a one-hour trip). Benidorm is the first city of the Costa Blanca, one of the most touristy areas of Spain. It’s a wild coast covered by Castles and strongholds. Beaches there are just amazing. Alicante is in the middle of the Valencia Community and shelters immense beaches of golden sand among which the Platija de l’Albuferrata, Platja de Sant Joan and el Postiguet, famous for the impressive rock that surrounds the area.
But so much more awaits you! Don’t hesitate, come and rent an apartment in Valencia and get a taste of this earthly heaven.Valencia beaches await you!
