Robyn Rowan Hitchcock took his first steps into the world of rock with The Soft Boys in 1970 and since then his career has been very prolific, with 18 studio albums, about 10 live albums and three compilations of Greatest Hits.

The heir to the songwriters of the era’s most influential and moving music, he has not stopped working, and is currently initiating other creative projects. He has never stopped plying the guitar and has recently collaborated with other artists such as Bill Rieflin and Peter Buck of REM or The Venus 3 more recently, with whom he recorded his last three albums before giving birth to his latest solo creation ” Tromsø, Kaptein “.
All production and recording of “Tromsø, Kaptein” have been performed in Norway. In this last record we find a mixture of styles that Hitchcock has shown us in previous albums. This author’s relationship with Norway comes from a tour with his friends and the Motor Boys Motor band in 1982. Across the country in a small yellow van he played at summer festivals, getting wet in the rain and staying in quaint wooden hotels. A dream landscape that captivated him prompting Hitchcock and since 2005 has regularly visited the country. In his visits he ended up making friends in the world of music, and the music label Hype City offered him the opportunity to record an album. Hitchcock of course jumped at the offer and immersed himself in creating an album of total disconnection with the world that has allowed him to compose 10 songs with a very fluid and sincere .
Santa Monica, New Castle, Glasgow, London, Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia are of course some of the cities that feature in the agenda of Robyn Hitchcock. We expect an unforgettable concert for a price to be around 15-20 euros, but certainly worth spending the money on a performance like that.
