For more people than one might imagine, cruising is one of the most exciting sexual fantasies. While traditionally linked to male homosexuality, the practice is spreading among other groups.

After all, who hasn’t felt an uncontrollable desire to have sex with a stranger who, with eyes or body language, tries to convey their uncontrollable interest in you?

By definition, cruising is the act of seeking sex with strangers in public or semi-public environments such as parks, beaches, public toilets in train stations, buses, airports, etc … It wakes up a deeply primal interest, and allows for casual yet intense seduction. The contact is fast and loose and the risk involved in the practice makes it even more exciting.

Perhaps our education, which instils in us with all sorts of hang-ups about what we can and can’t do sexually, is exactly the reason we find such “forbidden” acts so exciting. In succumbing to them it’s as if we are possessed by an alter ego above our learned moral norms. We love to break certain barriers, sometimes also motivated by simple curiosity.

All that being said, I’d like to encourage responsible cruising, which if you think about is undoubtedly a more healthy manner to channel ones sexual urges than through the virtual channels of chat and dating sites. This virtual world is so often built on lies, and prone to create disappointment and frustration when users are faced with the large gap between the limitless reality created on the computer and the constraints imposed by the physical and psychic realities in which we live.

So if you do not want surprises Get out there and meet people face to face. Make use of cruising, but keep in mind certain concepts and basic precautions:

1 Cruising and public nudity are legal in Spain. The only exceptions are around children or mentally handicapped people (Article 185 of Criminal Code).

2 You could be the victim of a robbery. Use common sense and never leave belongings unattended. It would be best not to take anything of value with you.

3 Be discreet. You are in a public space and not everyone has the same intentions as you do. Choose to cruise at times when you’re not going to bother others.

4 Be clean. Nobody has to pick up your condoms, lubricant, or dirty tissues: that’s your responsibility.

5 Be careful. Some cruising areas can be dangerous on windy days or because of their conditions: ruined buildings, undeveloped underpasses, cliffs, etc …

6 And, of course, think about sexually transmitted diseases. If you stick to masturbation or penetration with a condom it is almost impossible to happen to catch anything even if you tend to be very promiscuous.

If you fancy a little bit of cruising, keep in mind that most sexually oriented city guides can inform you about the most common cruising areas in a city. One great place to give it a try is in Spain and liberal culture may make for some hot nights out. Rent apartments in Valencia and go out for a cruise…

The Patronato Martìnez Guerricabeitia of the General Foundation of the University in Valencia prepared an exhibition titled “All that could’ve been and wasn’t” which is going to be shown in the historic building of La Nau until October 12th, and which is thought to reflect upon the period of transition through works by Equipo Crónica, Genovés and Mompó.

<img class="aligncenter" style="margin-top: 5px; margin-bottom: 5px;" title="Expo lo que pudo ser y no fue"src="http://www.only-apartments.com/images/valenciaMe/armengol.jpg" alt=" expo-lo-que-pudo-ser-y-no-fue" width=" height="386" />

“All that could’ve been and wasn’t” will show the Martíney Guerricabeitia collection with more than 30 works of art of contemporary artists, the most important being: Equipo Realidad, Sempere, Soria, Yturralde, Antoni Miró, Armengol, Michavila or Canogar.

The exhibition is divided in three themes (“12 painters from Valencia”, “6 screenprints” and “Art and cultural revolution. A contribution in the memory of Rafael Alberti”), which will not only present paintings, but also screen prints, figurative and abstract works, donated to the University of Valencia by Jesús Martínez Guerricabeitia in ’99, turning it into Spain’s most important public university in regards to collections of contemporary art.

The works shown are from the period between 1975 and 1976, which were selected by Promociones Culturales del País Valenciano and by the socialist party, because it was during this period that different political formations used to raise funds through the sale of artistic compilations.

And this is why these artworks have such a strong political background and give historic evidence of that certain period. Vicent Sanz, director of Actividades del Patronato and curator of this show, underlined that this is a “wasted opportunity” and that this is also the reason why he chose that specific title for the show. If you want to visit “All that could’ve been and wasn’t”, rent apartments in Valencia and enjoy these political artworks and the historical events they make reference to.

Summer promises fun and adventure until we realize that perhaps we have neglected our body and we begin to lament our protruding bellies. Learn to love what you’ve got even when you’re surrounded by hundreds of perfect bodies.

<img class="aligncenter" style="margin-top: 4px; margin-bottom: 4px;" title="Obesity epidemic" src="http://www.only-apartments.com/images/valenciaMe/kilosmas.jpg"alt="obesity-epidemic" width="450" height="394" />

This late in the summer you’ve probably realized that that spare tire isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. But don’t sweat the “perfect 10´s” you see bronzing on the beach. Get out of the habit of asking the same question over and over again, why can’t I have a body like that? Or the classic negative thoughts like “I’ll never have a body like that.” It’s much more important to learn to love your body as it is and look in the mirror and feel sexy … because we are what we are and our curves, flesh and imperfections all make us the complete, individual, sexy creatures that we are.

The difference is clear if you put aside the constant barrage of images of supposedly perfect bodies we take in every day from the media every day and learn to live with what we are. In fact, learning to love our bodies is the basis of a more open sexuality: if you are busy being ashamed of your body, it is hard to enjoy sensuality. Love your body for what it feels and what it makes others feel, not the image, and learn to take advantage of these sensations.

One of the best cities in which to display all your charms, both physical and otherwise, is Valencia. Undoubtedly, renting apartments in Valencia will be a blast. Tour its beautiful beaches, bars and nightclubs and don’t forget that the Valencian coast gave its name to one of Spain’s most famous musical exports, bakalao style Techno. Enjoy a well deserved holiday in Valencia, relax, live it up, and most importantly, love yourself and live in the moments. Confidence is always sexy!

An excellent solo exhibition of the architect Ramón Esteve will be shown in the Instituto Valenciano de Arte Moderno –IVAM- until the October the 2nd. Under the title “From architecture” the show gives us insight into the creative ways of Ramón Esteve, whose work doesn’t leave room for easy composition or random space. On the contrary, his adaptation of the terrain to the cultural and social context, to climatic conditions, as well as the necessities of the program are the basis of this architectonic proposal of this great master, giving constructive solutions which are paving the path of the aesthetic outcome.

<img class="aligncenter" style="margin-top: 4px; margin-bottom: 4px;" title="Exhibit Ramon Esteve Valencia" src="http://www.only-apartments.com/images/valenciaMe/ramonesteve2.jpg"alt="exhibit-ramon-esteve-valencia" width="500" height="375" />

Considered one of the most important representatives of Valencia’s contemporary architecture, Esteve founded the Escuela Téncica Superior de Architecture de Madrid (Superior School of Architecture in Madrid) and his prolific and versatile oeuvre has wandered through all the possible variants, from urban infrastructure projects to home architecture, with high quality family homes and industrial design, being a natural progress of his architecture projects that have given rise to the creation of various furniture collections for international and prestigious firms.

The show at the IVAM is divided in for sections: the studio, where the visitor gets to know the architect and designer, with a chronological summary of twenty years of artistic career. The second is called Architecture and will immerse us into his creative and formal universe as an architect, through the means of photography, exhibition panels, scale models, texts and drawings that will help us to enter his visual language.

The third section is dedicated to his artistic and multidisciplinary career in design showing a collection of the most important and interesting furniture pieces design by Esteve. Finally, the fourth block Contests, will show his more recent projects of his studio. These works will be presented as videos and with scale models.

What we should always remember about his work is that Esteves housing design has been a huge success. Minimal houses, predominantly built with stone and wood, the white and the light and the geometrical games are meant to construct a space where the exterior can penetrate into the interior of the home. And this, from an aesthetic perspective that avoids all irrelevant, enacting a minimalist stance.

This space artist and designer, starting from architecture, manages mixing a strong rationalistic stance with harmony and contextualization. This is how we can sum up Esteves work, which you can see renting apartments in Valencia this summer.

Cuisine is undoubtedly one of the most striking things when we travel, and many places around the world are known not only for their museums but also for their great appetizers, main dishes and desserts. Valencia is, without doubt, one of these cities.

That is why now Valencian cuisine will be the protagonists for no less than 10 days of the Universal Exposition held in Shanghai, China’s largest city and one of the world’s most populous, with the help of chefs from restaurants the Valencia restaurants Branch and Vertical, with have both been awarded Michelin stars.

For this reason from July 12th on Jorge de Andres and Jorge Berton, heads chefs of these two restaurants, will be offering highlights of Valencian cuisine in the five-star Meliá Shanghai Restaurant, a culinary landmark of the city. This is ideal an ideal way to get to know Valencian culture for people in china .

But if you’re not in Shanghai, don´t worry because you can rent apartments in Valencia and enjoy the food in town; as you can see, it is recognized worldwide, even in distant and exotic places like China, for being tasty and sophisticated.

The menu will consist of dishes inspired by traditional Valencian food but, they said, not without innovation. Some of Valencia’s most famous foods are “menjar blanc”, “all i pebre” and rice dishes like paella or “fesols i amb naps,” among many other dishes.

The most elite musicians often earn a fair bit of money for their performances, which is why the president of the Palau de la Música in Valencia, Mayrén Beneyto, asked them to reduce their economic expectations and perform more concerts. The woman revealed that the economic crisis has forced them to cut the number of concerts performed by the Orchestra of Valencia by half (there were six major productions a year and now there are only three.)

As artist’s asking prices increase, it is virtually impossible to maintain ticket prices stable. The only option is that artists ask for less money. The good news is that many musicians have been willing to accept lower salaries so that the audience can weather these hard times without feeling the pinch.

The Valencia Orchestra will celebrate the centennial of the death of Mahler with performances of all the international composer’s symphonies except the eighth. But not to worry, despite the lowered salaries, there will still be guest artists like the soprano Ainhoa Arteta or the director Rafael Frübeck. Renowned Argentine conductor Daniel Barenboim will direct that the piano concertos of Franz Liszt.

Next season, the Orchestra of Valencia will have a new schedule: concerts from Monday to Thursday at the Palau de la Música begin at 20:00 instead and not 20:15 as in previous years.

The is amazing concert hall is located in the old Turia River promenade and has several rooms for musical shows, conferences, exhibitions, performances and film projections. If you want to visit and enjoy Orchestra performances from various artists from around the world, it’s as easy as renting apartments in Valencia right now. Music will make you whole!

There should be a monument to the G-spot… This is an area about which hundreds of books have been written: Does it exist, where is it, is there is a reason for women to demand that their partners take the effort to find it? Yes, it does exist and yes, if you find it is capable of being the focal point of sexual energy so intense that the woman feels explosions when it’s discovered. But not all female sexuality is focused on this point, no way. Unsurprisingly say, the most important thing is to know the ins and outs of the whole terrain and understand how the female genitals work.

In fact finding the g-spot is not even necessary to make many women feel pleasure, and many are very satisfied with just vaginal and clitoral stimulation. The door to the Garden of Eden is guarded by little button that protrudes between the labia, the clitoris. This small oval can produce pleasure in women such that they may not need to stimulate anything else in order to feel sexual pleasure.

The truth is that it seems that women like to keep what pleasures them a secret, an impulse which I don’t really understand. Some studies have referred to this approach as a strategy, so as not to imply that the problem is that we really do not know our own sexual organs. Have you ever stopped and taken five minutes to get to know yourself intimately? I do not mean to pleasure yourself, but to analyze, discover, recognize and to feel every inch of skin from the labia to the famous G-spot

And how? Well, there is nothing better than going to schools that can educate you and help you understand your sexuality. For example, in the city of Valencia there are professionals who can assist you to discover your inner self. Take advantage and rent apartments in Valencia to find a new sexual dimension in your life.

Maybe it has happened to you before: You spend several days at sea in a sailboat, for example, breathing only the air sea, gazing at the shore, and every once in while you catch a whiff of something. Not the stench of a nearby chemical plant or motor boats spewing gas. It is something more primal: the smell of human flesh … more or less well-done, often seasoned with sunscreen, baking in piles along the beach.

The end result of abusing the sun is literally “burning” our epidermis. However, having a tan is, in contemporary Western culture, an essential must have during the summer months. If you return from a vacation near the sea and you aren’t sufficiently bronzed or “red lobster”, co-workers and even the bakery clerk will all chorus with astonishment “But what happened, was it raining? Why aren’t you any darker?”

We fully agree with the fact that a little colour can brighten us up, and allows us to go easy on the makeup. It has also been shown that sun exposure helps you feel good because it stimulates serotonin production. Unfortunately, some people take their sun worshiping to extremes, obviously putting their health at risk! Experts have identified an uncontrolled obsession with tanning as a real dependency. This tanning addiction is sometimes called tanorexia. People who suffer from this disorder will find a way to sunbathe at any cost UV. They are never fully satisfied with the results and the colour of their skin. Tanorexia seems to be a growing problem, especially among young people. Like any addiction, this can lead to terrible consequences. Oncologists have launched the alarm over rising cases of skin cancer due to excessive sun exposure.

It may seem absurd, but especially in the Far East and India the opposite trend is happening. The demand for bleaching creams is increasing. There, having a tan is not at all in vogue. It’s up to you to do what you wish with your skin. You can slather on the sunscreen and stay in the shade to maintain your pallor or sunbathe without a care. But if you opt for baking, make sure to take precautions and not go overboard with the sun. One fantastic way to enjoy the summer is to rent apartments in Valencia, where you can discover its beautiful beaches. Bring your sunscreen!

Women worldwide, single, modern or married, all recognize that the hit series “Sex and the City” sometimes reflects our love lives. There are few who do not know Samantha, Carrie, Charlotte or Miranda. Their adventures always give us advice and no detail of modern love, no matter how unseemly, remains undisclosed. In a world where more and more people forget how to enjoy life, “Sex and the City” offers perspective and teaches us how to improve our love life.

The most important thing you need to know is that you need not seek perfection. All relationships are complicated, and Prince Charming does not exist. Charlotte has demonstrated it by searching for the perfect man. The result is always a disappointment.

Opposites attract. You may be looking for love in a person who resembles you, but you are very likely to find it in someone that is totally opposite to you. Miranda, the quintessential logical thinker and serious lawyer, ends up married to a childish waiter.

Sex before marriage is essential. Although there are women who prefer the romantic idea of saving themselves for their future husband, a test drive is always a good idea. It can be quite a tragedy to discover troubling inconsistencies in bed with your partner down the road. Charlotte decided to wait and then found out that she wasn’t compatible with her husband.

You are like you are and do not have to change to make your partner happy. Carrie tried to do so until she realized how unhappy she was living a life that was not hers.

Being alone is not a tragedy and this may be one of the most important lessons of the series. The players proved able to enjoy life with or without a partner.

So now you know! The most important thing is not having a partner, but enjoying the pleasures of life. Rent apartments in Valencia and enjoy sex, shopping and friends. Put into practice the advice of the SATC girls.

Recently, a major Internet retail market did a survey and discovered that sales of Speedo type swimsuits had risen a ton from last year. You know, the much maligned budgie-smugglers sometimes known as banana hammocks. There was a 400% percent increase in the number of searches for the term “Speedo” in e-shops studied. What? After reading this news, I started worrying: may we soon suffer the Apocalypse? 400% more British men have taken to buy a swimsuit so revealing that a casual observer can “detect the religion “of the wearer?

To make sure that my paranoia was not based on my own eccentricity or the result of growing up in the U.S. (where wear a Speedo not only ensures ostracism for you, but also for all your family) I asked a German work-mate. “It seems that the sale of Speedos has risen a lot since last year,” She replied “Ick. That’s scary. I hope we don’t see the increase here! “Men’s bodies can be very attractive to me but no matter how handsome a guy is, if he wears a Speedo, um, no thanks. Luckily we’re not in France, where the use of the “slip” is required by law in public pools.

I understand that we’re not looking for the male equivalent of a burquini: obviously, the swimsuits must be used to swim. And this is how my father, a lifelong swimmer, hairier than the vast majority of pets, defended his use of the Speedo. As a child, his practical and comfortable sportswear meant that none of the other kids at the neighbourhood pool would talk to me, and I spent endless summers talking to myself, reading and drawing. I haven’t set foot in a public swimming pool for over 15 years. However, I don’t shy away from hot springs or beaches, especially nude ones, where there is no danger of seeing someone in a Speedo.

In brief, it’s not what we when we go to the beach, but what we feel-the breeze, the sun and the delicate kiss of water. The best option to avoid sartorial problems? It’s simple, go to a nude beach. Rent apartments in Valencia, where you’ll find a fantastic nudist beaches like El Saler, Capiborb, Ribamar, Three Beaches, Arsiaga Cala, Cala El Volante, El Dorado, El Dosser, La Devesa, or Corinth.
